Jay directs Sagamore Investments, LLC as part of his role as president of Sagamore Institute. Between these two entities, he manages a $12 million annual budget and 50 staff who perform a series of research, consulting, and investment putting ideas into action. He also directed numerous public-private social enterprises as a senior advisor to President George W. Bush from 2006-08 and chronicled the White House compassion agenda in his book, The Quiet Revolution. Learn more here.
C.E. serves as CFO of Sagamore Institute (501c3) and Sagamore Investments, LLC. Prior to his work at Sagamore, he was a co-founder of Capin Crouse which is one of the nation’s leading accounting firms for nonprofit organizations. He also served as chairman of Asbury University in his hometown of Wilmore, Kentucky.
ANDREW BRILLDirector of Investments
Andrew directs impact investments for Sagamore Investments. Prior to joining Sagamore Investments, he performed financial analysis in support of high impact, community-focused senior care investments at Mainstreet in Indiana. He also founded his own consulting company delivering financial services to early and growth stage private companies.
AMY SHERMANSocial Measurement
Amy directs the social measurement activities of Sagamore Investments. After receiving her Ph.D. in international economic development from the University of Virginia in the early 1990s, she has been one of the nation’s leading faith-based social enterprise scholar-practitioners in America. She has written numerous books including Kingdom Calling, one of the leading contributions to the field of vocational stewardship. Read more about her work here.
